Jesus hasn’t been represented well. Jesus didn’t come to start another religion. He said he came to “fulfill the law, not abolish it.” (Matthew 5:17). This meant that he came to show the Jewish people what the heart of their Law, the Torah, looked like. It was an invitation to the life of heaven, the life of salvation, and this life starts today.
Jesus modeled God’s unconditional love for humanity by taking the very worst humanity had to dish out and sacrificing Himself for their salvation. He broke the cycle of destruction and invites us into a new way of being human, in reality, being fully human.
We believe this sacrifice has wiped the slate clean for us, to recognize that our destructive ways of living don’t have the final word and that Jesus shows us how to live out the best possible way to live, the life of heaven.
We’re a church trying to walk after our Master. We are a church trying to live out the Good News, that Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s Story and is victorious over the kingdoms of this world through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension. He is inviting all people to be saved and transformed by his Spirit.
We are grateful for the life of salvation because of Jesus. We invite you to join the journey with us.
