Each Sunday the community of New Ground Church comes together to celebrate how God is moving in our lives. Together we worship God for His faithfulness while encouraging each other in the areas of life that we struggle. We dedicate time to worship God through song, prayer, scripture study, as-well-as connecting with others. If you are interested in our teachings, you can visit our “Sermons” page.
A Strong Emphasis on Children
We are a church that continues to value the voice of children. The first Sunday of the month, we have all children stay in worship with us. We also try to find ways to help our children be part of the life of our community worship. We acknowledge that children and youth will be future leaders of our church, but we also want them to live in that now by providing opportunities where they are partners with us.
The other Sundays, excellent children’s programming is available during the service for children ages birth through 5th grade. Our classrooms are broken down into age-appropriate groups to ensure that not only do our children learn about Jesus, but they have a fun time doing so. We invite our K-5th-grade children to worship with their family and then dismiss them to their classrooms — children Pre-K and under are in their classes for the entire service.
Please stop by the Child Registration / Information Desk in the lobby to check in your child or get for information. Please check out our Children’s Ministry page under the “Connect” tab to learn about our Children’s Safety Policies.
A 7 Day a Week Church
At the center of New Ground is the desire to know God, develop healthy relationships, discover our identity, and serve others. We believe that Christianity is a call to follow Jesus every day. In everything we do we ask the question, “How can we fulfill that which we were created for—to know God and spread His amazing grace?” So come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to help bring redemption to this world—7 days a week.
A Community Church
We believe that we cannot walk the way of Jesus alone. We all need people to lean on at times, and be a support for others. This is why Scripture emphasizes the importance of the local church and the encouragement that comes from it (Gal 6:1-2; 1 Thes 5:18; Heb 3:13, 10:24-25). We walk out our faith in relationship with others throughout the week by engaging in Community Groups, Discipleship Groups, as-well-as Men’s and Women’s Ministries. You can learn more about these opportunities from the “Connect” tab.
